Chests are items you buy with Coins and then open to receive a fixed batch of resources. Each chest always gives the same list of items, though a few come in a range (for example 2-6 Emerald from the Treasure Chest). There are 19 chests in the game.
Most chests are available for Coins all the time. A handful rotate with the seasons or with in-game events, and the Treasure Chest is found out in the world rather than bought. Each chest below has its own tab showing its image, cost, and full contents.
Standard chests
These chests are available for Coins in the shop at all times, listed here from cheapest to most expensive.
The cheapest chest in the game. The Pleb Chest hands over a small stack of basic early resources, making it an easy first purchase for new players.
The Food Chest is stocked entirely with food, a cheap way to top up your hunger without farming or cooking anything yourself.
A step up from the Pleb Chest, the Good Chest mixes basic resources with a little Coal and Raw Iron to help you reach the early metal tiers.
The Resource Chest is a bulk buy of Log, Stone, and Leaves, handy when you just need a pile of basic building materials.
The Great Chest is a broad grab bag of mid-game materials, including Coconut, Coal, Raw Iron, Raw Gold, Raw Silver, and Steel Mix.
The OMG Chest is the upgraded Great Chest, adding Adurite Silver and larger amounts of the metals you need to push into the higher tiers.
The Adurite Chest is focused on Raw Adurite, along with a big stack of Bloodfruit and some Cooked Meat.
The Crystal Chest is the go-to source of Crystal Chunk, bundled with Raw Gold and Ice Cube.
The Magnetite Chest is built around Raw Magnetite, with a little Essence on the side.
The Essence Chest does one thing: it hands over a stack of Essence, a fast way to buy levels if you have the Coins to spare.
The Emerald Chest is the main way to buy Emerald in bulk, with a bit of Essence included.
The Void Chest is packed with Void materials like Obsidian, Void Shard, and Jelly, plus some Essence.
Limited chests
These chests are only available during certain seasons or events, so they rotate in and out of the shop.
A limited chest built around Coal, with some Stone and Essence. It is not always available in the shop. Only available one time during the April Fools update of 2025.
A seasonal chest tied to the Christmas event, filled with festive food, Gold, Crystal Chunk, and Emerald. Obtainable during Christmas events.
A seasonal Easter chest packed with Eggs, Carrots, Gold, and Essence. Available yearly during the Easter event.
An event chest with a mix of high-value materials, including Magnetite, Emerald, Pink Diamond, Adurite, and Essence. Obtainable during Booga Booga's anniversaries.
A limited chest focused on Raw Pink Diamond, with Strawberries and Essence alongside it. Only available during Valentines Day!
A seasonal summer chest full of fruit like Mango and Watermelon, plus Gold, Coins, and Emerald. Bought through a event shop during the summer!
Treasure Chest
The Treasure Chest is the one chest you cannot buy. It is found out in the world rather than bought from the shop, and opening it can give Emerald, Coins, Raw Gold, and Gold.
Notes
Chestplate items (Iron Chestplate, Void Chestplate, and so on) are pieces of armor, not loot chests. See Armor, Bags & Pouches.
The plain Chest, Reinforced Chest, Infinity Chest, and Egg Basket Chest are craftable containers you place down to hold items, not loot chests.
