Gods are stone statues of the classic Roblox Moai head, found all over the Overworld, in caves, and in The Void. Mining one deals damage until it breaks, dropping a large amount of Essence as well as a resource specific to that God's tier. Gods are the single best way to obtain Essence in the game, and most players use them to hit level 100 and reach their first Rebirth. Each God requires a specific tool level to damage - most sit at tool level 4, but a few are gated much higher.
Overworld Gods
The Old God is found in the Ancient Underwater Cave on Spirit Island, and is one of the more contested Gods due to its central location.
The Hateful God is found in the Volcanic Underwater Cave and drops Raw Adurite alongside its Essence.
The Wealthy God is found in the Icelands and drops a large amount of Raw Gold on top of Essence.
The Lonely God is found on Crystal Island and drops a wide mix of resources, including Bloodfruit and Raw Meat.
The Miserable God is found on Feather Island and drops Bluefruit and Crystal Chunk alongside its Essence.
The Sleeping God is found in the Big Cave and drops Coal and Raw Emerald along with its Essence.
The Ancient God is found in a cave on the large Desert Island and drops a mix of Stone, Gold, and Iron.
The Furious God is found in the Ant Cave and drops Raw Adurite and Bloodfruit alongside its Essence.
The Pink God is a seasonal Valentine's God, but it's actually the second-strongest God in the game, with ten times the health of the other Overworld Gods.
Void Gods
These only spawn inside The Void, and hit much harder on the resource side - they're the primary source of end-game materials such as Void Shards and Pink Diamond.
The Magical God drops Raw Magnetite and Raw Pink Diamond alongside a large Essence payout.
The Strange God drops Oddberry alongside its Essence.
The Odd God drops Strangefruit alongside its Essence.
The Dark God drops Obsidian and Void Shard alongside a large Essence payout.
The Soulless God drops Void Shard alongside a large Essence payout.
The Infinity God is the toughest thing to kill in the game short of Dave, and the only God in The Void that drops Spirit Keys.
Tips
All Gods respawn on a long timer (roughly 1,000 seconds for Overworld Gods), so high-traffic ones like the Old God are frequently contested. Expect other players nearby.
The Old God is guarded by a White Ant Mound in the Ancient Underwater Cave - clear the mound first unless you're confident in a fight.
Picking up Essence grants 10 XP each, so a single God can be worth hundreds of XP in one go.
