Desert Islands

The Desert Islands are a small cluster of sandy islands in the northeast corner of the map. They hold mostly basic resources with a few desert-only additions, and the largest of them hides the Ancient God away in a cave.

Resources and wildlife

The Desert Islands carry the usual early materials plus a handful you will not find elsewhere, like the Cactus and the sandy Feather Stone.

• Trees and plants: Small Tree, Banana Tree, Coconut Tree, Bush, Big Bush, and Cactus.

• Rocks and nodes: Small Rock, Big Rock, Feather Stone, and Gold Node.

• Shellies: Stone Shelly and Big Stone Shelly.

• Wildlife: Sand Mammoth, Baby Sand Mammoth, and Peeper.

Sub-locations

Large Desert Island

The Large Desert Island is the biggest of the group and holds most of the biome's resources. It is made up of several raised plateaus covered in trees and bushes, and a cave on the island holds the Ancient God. The Sand Mammoth and Baby Sand Mammoth roam here, and you will often find a tribe in the Iron or Steel age set up on it.

Small Desert Island

The Small Desert Island carries some of the same resources on a much smaller footprint. Its Feather Stones are recoloured a sandy tone instead of the usual light blue.

Mesa

The Mesa is a tall rise of rock formations that sits apart from the rest of the desert. Its slopes are scattered with bushes, rocks, and the biome’s usual resources to gather, and the cave holding the Ancient God is set into it.
