World

The Overworld is the main game map where all the action takes place. It's made up of four core biomes plus a scattering of tiny Spawn Islands, three Floating Islands reachable by rope, and a network of caves running underneath most of it.
Grasslands
Grasslands is the largest biome of all and sits in the middle of the map. It consists mainly of basic resources like Wood, Stone, and Gold, making it the natural starting point for new players. See the Grasslands page for a full tour of its sub-locations.
Icelands
Icelands takes up most of the west side of the map and looks pretty barren, but it's actually one of the best places to farm Gold, thanks to Gold Nodes buried inside its ice. It's also home to the Wealthy God and the Frozen Giant. See the Icelands page for a full breakdown.
Desert Islands
Desert Islands is a small region in the northeast of the map, with its own set of basic resources and the Ancient God hidden in a cave. See the Desert Islands page for its sub-locations.
Volcanic Islands
Volcanic Islands sits on the east side of the map, with its own resource variants and the Hateful God inside an underwater cave. See the Volcanic Islands page for its sub-locations.
Floating Islands
There are three Floating Islands on the map, all reached by climbing a Sky Rope: Feather Island, Sun Island, and Crystal Island. Crystal Island is the odd one out, since it can only be reached by dropping a Spirit Key into the Spirit Lock on Sun Island to build a temporary bridge. See the Floating Islands page for Feather, Sun, and Crystal Island.
Jungle Islands
The Jungle Islands is a forgotten island in the corner of the map, it is located next to the Volcanic Islands. The Jungle Islands are complete with 3 islands, with the most noticable feature being an extinct volcano. The Jungle houses a tropical climate, perfect for a base (also due to the fact that people rarely visits the islands). Navigating the Jungle Islands can be quite harsh as most of the island sits way above sea level. See the Jungle Islands page for more information.
Caves
Most caves connect into one shared network that runs underneath the Overworld, so breaking through a set of Old Boards in one cave often leads straight into another. The Ancient Underwater Cave and Volcanic Underwater Cave are the two exceptions, each sealed off on its own with a single entrance.
See Gods for exact stats on the Gods mentioned above, and The Void for the separate dimension reached from inside the Overworld.
