Volcanic Islands

The Volcanic Islands sit on the east side of the map, built from dark volcanic rock with a mix of Grasslands wildlife and a few resources of their own. The biome is best known for its volcano, which doubles as the exit of a portal buried deep in the Ancient Underwater Cave.

Resources and wildlife

Alongside the usual basics, the Volcanic Islands add Volcanic Trees, Bloodfruit Bushes, and Fire Hide from their wildlife.

• Trees and plants: Small Tree, Volcanic Tree, Swoll Tree, Dead Tree, Apple Tree, Bush, Big Bush, and Bloodfruit Bush.

• Rocks and nodes: Small Rock and Gold Node.

• Shellies: Stone Shelly, Big Stone Shelly, and Iron Shelly.

• Wildlife: Rento, Rentae, Banto, Bantae, Lil Banto, and Beached Boi.

Sub-locations

Volcano

The Volcano leaks a magma texture that does not actually deal any damage. It has two Gold Nodes and a Volcanic Small Rock on it. Players who take the portal inside the Ancient Underwater Cave are teleported to the top of the volcano.

Volcano Island

Volcano Island is a small island tucked behind the volcano, with a couple of Volcanic Trees and Bloodfruit Bushes and a Rento and Rentae. A hole in the water at the front of the island leads down into the Volcanic Underwater Cave, home to the Hateful God.

Volcanic Grassland

The Volcanic Grassland is a large island with a volcanic rock shoreline that holds most of the basic Grasslands wildlife, along with a few Volcanic Trees and Bloodfruit Bushes of its own.
